Father figures being scarce when Tater was growing up, he found himself in a Boy Scout troop lead by a local Bog Witch. Some members of the Swamp Rabbit community were a bit nervous about this unconventional arrangement but she was well liked and happened to have some spare time and a penchant for keeping young’uns out of trouble. Tater achieved badges in fire starting, first aid and protective ward application by the end of his first year. He still recalls his time in the swamp rabbit boy scouts as one of the highlights of his childhood.
