Snow Day
Snow day. The first snow day of winter, last year’s mittens are found and hats have been lost. School is closed and the most exciting “go outside and play” of the whole year is heard. Blue-lipped and frozen-through everyone is called back inside, soggy coats litter the mud room. The luckiest kids have a grownup that has seen the inevitable “too cold” trudge up the hill and will pull a warm blanket out of the drier to wrap around their littles as they watch their marshmallow melt. It is the best day ever.
Original oil painting on paper, framed
Frame 5x6”
Image size 2 1/2 x 3 1/4” (it’s a tiny delightful moment)
