Bob Chelsea and Hank Flit

Oil on paper, framed 8”x5”. Sold as the pair

Bob and his neighbor have been in a silent argument for the past 12 years. Bob takes care of his yard to an almost diabolical level of precision. The grass is cut beautifully, edges crisp, cuttings removed immediately. His flower beds are a thing of perfection, nothing out of place, weeds are not even a possibility. The fight involves an overgrown, leggy cherry tree that grows in such a way that it leans over his fence from his neighbors side. Bob abhors this tree. It keeps him up at night. He thinks murderous thoughts involving the tree and its overly friendly owner. Bob is not proud of these thoughts and always tries to paste on a neutral face when loudly raking up the falling leaves and petals of this tree every freaking spring and fall.

Hank and his neighbor have been best friends ever since they moved in 12 years ago.
